OLDSMAR, Fla. and MICKLETON, N.J. -- September 5, 2007 -- Network Dynamics, Inc. (NDI) today announced that it has acquired the assets of ISecure Networks, Inc., a New Jersey-based provider of enterprise security and network performance solutions. The financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
Founded in 2002, ISecure Networks offers a wide variety of security solutions for connecting, securing, and baselining the performance of wired and wireless network environments. ISecure’s solutions, which include secure wireless LAN (WLAN) design and implementation, security audits, network forensics, and security event management, allow enterprises to deploy wireless networks productively and securely and protect them from unauthorized access. ISecure serves a number of well-known enterprise clients in the telecommunications, construction, insurance, and retail industries. These customers are primarily located in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions. To deliver the best available solutions for its customers, ISecure Networks has developed partnerships with a number of industry leading wireless infrastructure and security solution providers including Air Defense, AirMagnet, Aruba Networks (formerly Network Chemistry), Meru Networks, Network Instruments, RSA, and Sandstorm.
The acquisition of ISecure Networks supports NDI’s strategic growth initiative, referred to as “Mission 330.” NDI plans to integrate the newly acquired solutions into its security practice and provide best-of-breed solutions and support to existing ISecure customers and partners. In addition to the solutions they are currently receiving from ISecure, the company’s customers will now be able to take advantage of NDI’s worldwide service delivery infrastructure and comprehensive portfolio of life cycle support services including planning, implementation and operational services for data communications, IP telephony, WLAN, and legacy technologies. Additionally, NDI’s existing customers will benefit from the expanded technical capabilities and security solutions made available as a result of the acquisition.
The two founders of ISecure Networks, Jim McLay and Chris Neptune, will join NDI in sales and systems engineering roles, respectively.
“We are always interested in opportunities that support our strategic direction and extend our capabilities in key focus areas,” said Jim Bradshaw, chief executive officer of NDI. "ISecure Networks is an ideal complement to our organization. Their solutions further extend our capabilities and address growing market trends in the areas of security and wireless. We are confident their industry knowledge and experience will be wonderful additions to our team.”
“We are extremely excited to have joined forces with NDI,” said Jim McLay. “When we saw the benefits that NDI, its resources, service delivery infrastructure, and value-added life cycle solutions would bring to our clients, we knew that it was a necessary move to take our business to the next level.”
